We are pleased to announce the successful final close of Columna Capital Fund III.
This marks the third and largest fund capital raise since Columna Capital’s maiden fund launched in 2016. The successful close secures €290 million of commitments* and underscores strong investor confidence and demand from a global fund investor base. Furthermore, Columna Fund III has attracted high-calibre fund investors, including institutional and family office, endowment and high-net-worth investors based in the US, UK, France, Switzerland, Italy and South Africa.
The fund is grounded by a significant re-up rate with 75% of investors increasing their commitment in comparison to Fund II and complemented by new investors attracted to Columna’s partnership strategy and strong track record. This achievement is especially notable given the widely reported headwinds in the private equity fundraising environment over the past 24 months and reflects the strength of Columna’s track record, with its fully-realised Fund I marked as a top performer in Europe for its vintage.
